Structured Improvisation with Banning Bouldin

  • Houston Station 434 Houston St Nashville, TN, 37203 United States

Drawing from her international dance experience with choreographers such as Mats Ek, Johan Inger, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Aszure Barton, and many others, Banning Bouldin facilitates an environment dedicated to research, where dancers are encouraged to explore a wide variety of physicalities and movement possiblities through the use of structured improvisation inside contemporary technique & floor work. Dancers will then have the opportunity to apply these tools in interpreting excerpts of Bouldin’s choreography.
