Contemporary Cross-Training is a series of contemporary dance classes that offers advanced and professional dancers the opportunity to study a diverse range of contemporary dance concepts, vocabularies, and techniques on a daily basis. Designed to be a research lab for both dancers and teaching artists, New Dialect aims to create an environment where gifted teachers are encouraged to explore and refine what they teach, and each dancer is actively engaged in the process of identifying with clarity and confidence his or her own movement signature.

Rebecca Allen- Contemporary Ballet + Improvisation: Following a ballet class progression with exercises inspired by Cunningham technique and William Forsythe's Improvisation Technologies, this class is designed to build a healthy balance of strength and flexibility in the lower body, while increasing overall stability and exploring a full range of motion in the upper body.
Banning Bouldin- Flooring/Falling/Sliding: A cohesive and articulate training syllabus for the advanced dancer promoting awareness, stability, and specificity in an environment dedicated to research. Drawing from her extensive professional experience with some of the world's leading contemporary choreographers and instructors, Banning's class utilizes movement fundamentals rooted in Laban and Taylor techniques as influenced by 21st Century dance icons Mats Ek, Johan Inger, Aszure Barton, William Forsythe, and David Zambrano.
Rebekah Hampton Barger- Following the progression of a traditional ballet class, this class uses mental and physical concepts associated with contemporary dance to inform and reinvigorate the dancer's approach to classical ballet technique.
Rosemarie Mientka- Rosie offers a unique style of yoga called Vinyasa Flow, incorporating tools from her self study in the somatic work of Alexander Technique as well as her contemporary dance training. Vinyasa flow offers a flowing style of yoga that seamlessly moves through the poses one breath at a time. Classes incorporate a creative and intentional blend of sun salutations and other namaskars with a full range of poses sequenced in a way that provides the foundation to cultivate inner and outer alignment, flexibility and strength, stamina and grace.
