Amanda’s class begins with floor phrase work based on Bartinieff Fundamentals and builds through to standing warm-up material, emphasizing articulation, alignment and connections in the body using released based techniques. This work culminates in rigorous phrase material challenging the body’s attention to space and weight.
Amanda also includes dance improvisation to help encourage dancers to find various ways of moving within their own bodies, while exploring their own unique voice within created text.
