Certified Gaga instructor Amy Morrow, returns to Nashville this Fall with a week long workshop series in Gaga, the movement language of renowned contemporary dance choreographer, Ohad Naharin, artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company.
Classes for dancers and non dancers alike will be offered in Gaga/Dancers, Composition, and Gaga/People: a Gaga class created specifically for men and women with no previous dance experience, offering participants the opportunity to connect more deeply to themselves and their passions through movement.
No previous dance experience is required to attend Gaga/People. Dancers of all levels ages 16+ are strongly encouraged to attend both Gaga/People and Gaga/Dancers.
Dancers participating in the Full Workshop will have the opportunity to perform a short composition utilizing tools from Gaga in an informal open showing at the end of the workshop on October 25 at Houston Station. Feel free to invite friends and family! Amy will be giving a short talk and answering questions after the showing in a 30 minute Q & A.
