Join New Dialect for a week of contemporary warm up classes guided by special guest choreographer, Idan Sharabi.
We accept cash, credit, or check made payable to New Dialect. Prepay online for the entire week or pay at the door.
There is no pre-regristration required for class. Doors open at 9am. Class ends at 11. Please be sure to arrive with enough time to sign in and warm up before class begins.
Idan is a freelance choreographer based in Tel Aviv, Israel, who holds degrees from both Thelma Yellin and The Juilliard School. He has danced with Netherlands Dans Theater (NDT) and Batsheva Dance Company and created work for NDT, The Israeli Opera House, KCDC, The Israel Ballet, Ballet Junior de Geneve, NND, ZDT, and EBBC, as well as for his own group, Idan Sharabi & Dancers.
His most recent choreographic awards include the top prize at both The Mahol Shalem International Competition 2013, the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition 2014, the Hannover International Choreography Competition 2014, and the Dododotan Best Performance 2014 for his performance in his own We Men.
In 2015, Idan received the PAIS grant in for his existing showInterviews/Makom, as well as the Minister of Culture Prize for Best Performance and the Balletmester Albert Gaubiers og Poul Waldorffs Fond scholarship in Denmark.
