What a remarkable year it has been. During the past 12 months, we’ve garnered the recognition and support of the National Endowment for the Arts, experienced our first out-of-state performances in Colorado, been featured in the widely-read Dance Teacher Magazine, and received the Nashville Scene’s award for “Best New Dance.”

I am humbled by the extraordinary impact New Dialect has had in such a short period of time, and I am personally grateful for your help in making what was once a dream a reality

Thanks to your support, dancers are receiving world class training on a daily basis; high school students are sharing their personal stories of struggle and hope through dance; teenage girls are being empowered to lead and choreograph; people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers are enjoying the healing properties of creatively expressing themselves; people  of all backgrounds who are unfamiliar with dance are encountering our free H E A P pop-ups; and our company members are earning living wages, proving that art does indeed “work.”

We are accomplishing what we set out to do, and I believe the future holds ever more opportunities to expand our impact in Nashville and the contemporary dance world at-large.

As we move forward into 2018, we need your support to sustain the momentum of our mission and to increase our capacity to serve.

Individual gifts account for 20% of this year’s operating budget, and those donations—your donations—insure both the continuation of our current projects and the realization of new opportunities to mentor, train, and create.

Will you contribute to our Year-End campaign to raise $30,000?
