After artistic director Banning Bouldin was diagnosed with a debilitating neurological disorder, she began investigating new methods that would allow her to continue choreographing.
This research led to the creation of The Triangle, a surrealistic work that poetically combines conceptual fashion, sculpture, and powerful imagery to re-envision human limitations as a source of human strength.
The Triangle premiered at OZ Arts Nashville in 2019 to three back-to-back sold out audiences.
“Bouldin’s choreography, both technically complex and emotionally resonant, packs a universal punch that transcends the personal circumstances that spawned it.”
